WOMEN's CANCER COMFORT ZONE

WCCZ Cancer Centre was created for women who are battling cancer or who have battled cancer. The entire design is based around the idea of nature as nature has a power on the human body to help rejuvenate us and make us feel more happy and relaxed. These types of settings can help the cancer centre promote wellbeing, learning and comfort. The space is organised into spaces for individual learning, group learning, individual counselling and counselling through being part of a community. The design uses light, texture and colour to emphasize the connection with nature. The space is meant to encourage visitors to focus on their learning and wellbeing while being comfortable in a space that considers their health, safety and wellbeing.
